WOMEN PILOTS TO HOLD RACE THIS SATURDAY

The Montana Chapter of the "99's," international organization of women pilots, is staging an air race beginning at Jordan, and ending at the Wolf Point airport sometime after 12 noon this Saturday.

The race is a handicap affair, due to the different types of aircraft flown.

After landing at Wolf Point, the contestants will taxi up to the limeline where the flagman and timekeeper will check their time the instant the pilot cuts the engine and the propeller stops.

The first plane in will not necessarily win the race since it will be the ground speed over the handicap that will count. Prizes of 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded, in addition to a consolation award.
