How To Stop A Paper.—We had heard of various modes of stopping paper, but there was one way, altogether new and original, which we had yet to learn. A fellow in this city, who had received and read our Daily for about three months, on being called upon for dimes, replied that he "had not subscribed for the paper—didn't want the paper, and wouldn't pay for the paper, unless compelled to, for he had frequently said he didn't take the paper, and he could prove by witnesses that he had two or three times stopped the paper by throwing it out of the window!" Promising young man!
