Full Text

BALTIMORE, February 21.

Certain intelligence has been just received, that the hapless Mr. John Latshaw, late of this town (whose long absence had greatly alarmed and afflicted his distressed wife and family) was most barbarously murdered and robbed of his property, on his return homeward, in Bladen-County, North-Carolina, some time in November last. It appears, by a variety of strong circumstances, that the perpetrator of these atrocious deeds, was a certain William Turner, jun. of Fairfax County, Virginia, a notorious incendiary and robber! And as he has escaped the hands of justice in North-Carolina (where he had been apprehended) it is hoped the friends of human kind will exert themselves to apprehend this bloody wretch, so dangerous to society; that he may be brought to condign punishment.
