FRANK LYONS' $6,200 TO REVERT TO ALASKA TREASURY
SEATTLE.--Six thousand two hundred dollars, which is in a Seattle bank credited to the late Frank Lyons, trader, United States commissioner and postmaster at Nulato, Alaska, will revert to the treasury of Alaska, Judge J. T. Ronald of the King county superior court in Seattle, decided today. Lyons, who left no will or any known relatives, died recently in Seattle, and by the decision of the court his money will go to the Territory of Alaska instead of to the State of Washington.
Five residents of Portland, Oregon, filed claims as heirs, but after they familiarized themselves with Lyons' life they withdrew their claims, saying they had ascertained they were not related to him.
