PRODIGIES FADE FAST: SO WATCH CHILDREN

[By United Press]

LONDON, July 27.-Just now, following on the rise to fame of Daisy Ashford and various other child prodigies, Sir Maurice Craig has delivered a warning message to those parents who seek to over-develop the minds of their children with a view to emulating these rarities.

Lecturing on "The Healthy Mind" at the Institute of Hygiene, Sir Maurice declared that little Marmaduke might be able to paint pigs before he is 3, but he may not have the intelligence to feed them when he is 33.

And if baby Etheldreda can play heavenly music at the age of 5, the chances are that she will play like nothing on earth in later years.
