ASC Committees Selected In County
Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation committeemen for 1955 have been chosen by farmers and ranchers of the county, Chairman Lee Larson of the county ASC committee announced this week.
Ballots were counted on December 14 by a board of election judges composed of Robert E. Carson, Polson; Tom Pickett, Polson; William Hocker, Ronan; George Piedalue, Ronan; Neal Coulter, Charlo; A. N. Roberts, Charlo; and David Johnson, St. Ignatius.
Elected to positions in this district, or "E" district, were: chairman, Lewis Cotrell; vice chairman, Robert Hogge; regular member, Everett Hilton; first alternate, Merle Shipman; second alternate, Edwin Linderman.
Over 350 ballots were received in the election of committeemen, who will take office January 1.
