London, Aug. 30.—Dispatches dated the 12th inst. were this morning received at the Foreign-office, from our Consul at Lisbon. All the French ships of War had then left the Tagus with the exception of two vessels, which were to remain merely to receive on board such French subjects as might wish to return home; or to afford any other necessary facilities. These dispatches also confirm the statement given elsewhere respecting some ships of Don Miguel having been carried to Brest by the French squadron.
Lisbon, Aug.13.—Arrests as usual in Lisbon continue to take place hourly, and in general the most inhuman treatment is exercised by the Miguelites on their unfortunate victims.
"Daily deliberations by the Council occur; but the results are seldom made known. His Majesty's ships Breton and Dispatch were in the Tagus at the time of the packet's sailing."
