Arthur Adams, Exalted Ruler of the Juneau Lodge of Elks, returned Sunday morning from Omaha where he attended the Grand Lodge Session of the Elks as a delegate.
He is brown as a berry, reporting a hot time in Omaha, where it registered 107 degrees during the convention days.
There were five delegates from Alaska at the convention and they were given a round of applause when they arose in the convention hall reporting their presence and they also took honors in the big parade.
Walter P. Scott, who also attended the convention as District Deputy of the Grand Exalted Ruler, also returned Sunday morning, reporting a hot time the same as Adams.
No date nor city was set for the next convention as this will be left to the Executive Committee in view of transportation problems and also depending on the war situation.
