On February 16th, the 4-H Council met to discuss National 4-H Week and other matters at hand, beginning at 7:30. Ann Wood opened the meeting with the devotional.
Goals were set for the council. Several were: encourage junior leadership; plan and lead county-wide activities; and promote friendship and cooperation among clubs.
Suggestions were given for National 4-H Week. The members discussed the type of exhibits to be put up and where they should be placed. A committee was chosen for putting it up. Sheryl Thompson, Peggy Sue Lively, Brigitte Bietenholz, Ann Wood, Nancy Stabler, Steve Clark, Harry Bauldree, and Sonny Bauldree were on this committee.
Plans were made for a money-making project. Nothing was made definite but several suggestions were given.
