Full Text

Preserving Fish and Game.

The wanton destruction of fish and game in this section has aroused the better citizens of Dunsmuir to action, says the "News" of that place. They have organized a branch of the American League of Sportsmen, and propose to vigorously prosecute every offender against the game laws in the future. A reward is offered for the arrest and conviction of each and every violator; no effort will be spared to put a stop to the threatened destruction of forest and stream life here. In their purpose they are aided by the Southern Pacific Company, which has forbidden those in charge of its dining cars to buy any more fish or game from individuals along its line.
