On Sewer System Plans
Steve Andersen, mayor of Nome, was guest speaker for the Home Arts Club last evening which was held at the home of Mrs. Russell Hermann with Mrs. Walter Hodge as co-hostess.
He explained that the projected sewerage and water system and the work which must preceed the bond election, which should be early in the summer.
The housing survey underway by the club is over half done and many interesting facts are being compiled on the subject by members and volunteers.
It was announced that Bill Gillis will supply the plants for the annual plant sale this year from his heated greenhouse, which is already planted.
The club was also informed that playfield space will be available although there is construction underway on the high school addition. Plans are underway for the installation of the new equipment and old equipment which the club has purchased.
