Gov. Tanner Would Not Let Negroes Land and the R.R. Kicks.

SNEAKED OUT OF TOWN.

CHICAGO.—Complications promise to grow out of Tanner's seizure of the Alton road at Virden. Steps will be taken by the Alton to secure legal redress for Governor Tanner's action in refusing to allow the Alton road to unload negro miners at Virden.

SPRINGFIELD.—The imported negro miners in this city were quietly escorted by Co. F, 8th Inf. and cavalry troops to the Central station this morning and sent out on a Bluff Line special to Granite City.
