I can tell you that Doncaster is as populous as London, the Streets and Roads so full of People that there is scarce any passing: I believe we have seen all the Inhabitants within a great many Miles of the Place. There are about 7000 Foot in the Camp: They were review'd Yesterday, and will march Northward To-morrow or Monday: The Horse are gone before: There are two Regiments from Ireland, of 1000 Men each, will join them on the Road. There are 300 of the Dutch Troops, that have been missing some Time, landed at Hull. Marshal Wade's Head Quarters are at Wheatley, Sir George Cooke having complimented him with his House, and retired to Pontefract. The Rebels continue about Edinburgh, plundering the Country; but General Wentworth hath declared, that 1500 of the well affected Highlanders, are destroying their Country, and carrying away the Magazines that they had erected. Our Yorkshire Troops are complete, they consist of 42 Companies, commanded by Gentlemen of the best For:
tunes. Lord Malton and several Gentlemen appeared in their Regimentals, and dined with General Wade at the Angel on Wednesday last.
