EAST ALEXANDRIA RAILROAD.

Messrs. J. King, jr., and Thomas R. Sharp, of the B. & O. R. R. arrived at Shepherd's, the terminus of the East Alexandria Railroad, on the opposite side of the river, last night, by special train. After inspecting the wharf and other arrangements there, they embarked on board the steamer Keyport and, after a trip down the river as far as Fort Foote, returned to Washington. It is rumored that their visit has reference to the establishment of coal wharves and a steamboat landing at Shepherd's.
