REPUBLICANISM TRIUMPHANT.
The Maryland Election has terminated in a manner the most favorable to the tranquility and honor of the State, and the most creditable to the Republicans of the several counties who have performed their duty with the spirit and industry which became their cause, and which will ensure its continued triumph. The result has been such as always attends the energetic exertions of the Republicans, in a complete victory of their principles. The returns show, by generally increased majorities: that the Senate, now Federal, will be for five years Republican.
