HEIDENRICH IS ORMSBY LEADER

CARSON, March 28.--The county central committee of the Republican party held a meeting last night to which the resignation of Gib Briggs as county chairman was accepted and Thos. J. Heidenreich was selected to fill the vacancy. Mr. Briggs resigned because he is at the present time connected with the government service and as a result can not well take an active part in political affairs.

Mr. Heidenreich, the new chairman, is one of the old "wheel horses" of the party and one of the best known men in Ormsby county and throughout this section.
