Realizing that the concessions made to the traveling public in their party tickets which were to go on sale this morning were not sufficient to attract people to buy them, officials of the Monongahela Power and Railway company made further reduction in the cost of the tickets and the number of persons necessary to obtain a party ticket. The original offer made by the company was 15 per cent less than regular fare and 12 persons had to be in the party.
The sale price of the ticket today is 25 per cent less than the regular fare and 10 persons constitute a sufficient number to obtain a ticket.
