The above are the comforting words which Isaiah received during his prophesy of the Coming of Christ Jesus. He was able through spiritual sight to clearly point out the Christ Spirit which God would send through Jesus, his divine Son, to show the human race how to LIVE BY SPIRIT. and NOT BY THE BELIEF OF MATTER as substance and Spirit as shadow.
Isaiah also foresaw that the great exemplar would be humiliated, and made to suffer because the people could not understand the ways and means of Spirit. And he saw that even though the human minds of the people were enmeshed in the belief of substance in matter, the Master would overcome the world, and justify many in Spirit throughout the ages.
Mrs. Eddy has written, page 307, Science and Health, "Truth has no beginning. The divine Mind is the Soul of man, and gives man dominion over all things. Man was not created from a material basis, nor bidden to obey material laws which Spirit never made; his province' is in spiritual statutes, in the higher law of Mind."
Isaiah tells us also in his prophesy of the coming of Christ: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement ofour peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
Today the healing message is here for us to use. The use of the Bible and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, is here to study and apply, and as one cleans his consciousness of mortal strife, and studies the Word of God,
and brings himself under the law of good, as explained in the above mentioned books, he will find himself actually learning how to demonstrate what he learns. And demonstration speaks louder than any words of human emotion. In this Spirit always has, and always will go beyond all human beliefs. And there is nothing in the law which prohibits Spirit from speaking the Truth through consciousness and God's law has given one the right to speak the truth from his own experiences, and observations. One cannot speak the divine Truth of himself, but he must speak of Spirit. and it is by Spirit only that man actually lives and moves and has his true being.
Christ Jesus said. "Of m. self I can do nothing. But all things are possible to God."
And this is the age in which e very God-fearing man, woman, and child should lay down the burden of false belief.
The very circumstances un- der which man is sustained is of God. and Christ Jesus, the Son of God, showed the way.
It is through faith, hope, and charity of men and women gone before us who exhibited courage in the presence of human beliefs of danger and humiliation, who have given to the world that everlasting faith, hope, and understanding of the meaning of divine Love, God's unchanging pro- tection.
It is Truth that makes free, and brings to human con- sciousness the consecrated ele- ments of Spirit taught by our dear Jesus, and discovered by (Continued On Page 2)
