A letter from the Hague, dated April 14, says
Great matters are in agitation between the courts of London and Berlin. They propose to make important changes in Germany. I. The two powers intend to strip the King of Poland of his electoral dominions, and to restore the greatest part of them (for the King of Prussia will keep some towns) to the house of Saxe-Ernestine, from whom they were unjustly taken. 2. They are to make a partition of the bishopricks of Paderborn, Osnaburg, Munster, and Hildesheim, the secularization of which between the houses of Brunswick Lunebourg and that of Brandenbourg, made, we are told, one of the secret articles of the last treaty between England and Prussia.
