New Orleans. The health of New Orleans
still continues to improve. The number of
deaths from yellow fever, for the week ending
on Sunday morning last, is one hundred and
eight. The St. Charles Hotel was opened for
the reception of boarders on Wednesday last;
the St. Louis will open on first prox.; and ere
long the three theaters will be in full blast.
The approaching season, it is thought, will be
one of unusual briskness, not only in business
operations but also in amusements, in conse-
quence of the facilities of reaching the city by
the railroads now leading to the city from the
interior.
