Durant School News

The FHA met on Friday with Mrs. Jack Hague, sponsor. Twenty-one members of the Glee Club enjoyed the state choral festival in Jackson last weekend. They were accompanied by Mrs. Billy Binggar.

The Y-Teens met Wednesday morning. The girls practiced for installation which is to be held April 25. Minnie Ola Ammons is the retiring president; Royce Ann Smith will be installed new president.

Report cards were given out Wednesday.

Linda Grace enjoyed visiting her sister in Jackson on the weekend.

Beverly Welch has returned to school after a lengthy illness.

Many beautiful pieces of furniture have been made in the agriculture classes under the supervision of the teacher. Mr. J. C. Alexander.

Patty Nabors visited relatives in Jackson on the weekend.
