Dr. Karl T. Compton, of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and W. S. McLean, secretary of the Fisher Body Craftsman's Guild, discuss model automobiles which hundreds of boys throughout the country are designing and building for entry in the Guild's 1950 competition. They have until July 1 to complete their models. Many of these boys will share in awards which total $65,000 and at least eight of them will be awarded university scholarships. Dr. Compton has served on the Guild's honorary board of judges for the past nineteen years.
