RED CROSS FUND NEARLY $1200

The local Red Cross fund for the relief of Mississippi flood sufferers, has reached a total of nearly $1200. Miss Hazel Downes, at the East Hartford Trust Company, is still receiving contributions for the fund. Among recent contributors are the Burnside M. E. Church, Center Parent-Teacher Association, $5; Welcome Rebekah Lodge, $10; St. Agnes Guild, $10; Burnside Parent-Teacher association, $25; Women's Relief Corps, $5. Small amounts have been received from a number of children.
