Robinson To Fight Zivic In December

NEW YORK, (SNS) Preliminary arrangements were completed for a 10-round bout between Ray "Sugar" Robinson and Cpl. Fritzie Zivic, former welter-weight champion when he signed on the dotted line. The bout will be staged at the Municipal Auditorium Kansas City, Mo., on December 3.

Robinson knocked Zivic out in the tenth round when they met at Madison Square Garden, back in 1942. Robinson is recognized as the uncrowned king of the welter-weights, since he has been unable to get a bout with Freddie Cochrane the champion
