At 4:30 p. m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, the first battalion, 25th infantry will hold a review in honor of two of its members who have been ordered by the war department to be retired on completion of 30 years honest and faithful service in the United States army.
First Sergeant William Thompson, company C, 25th infantry, first enlisted in company E 24th infantry July 31, 1898 and all his service has been with the 24th and 25th infantry.
