NORFOLK, March 23.

The Court Martial which has been sitting for some time for the trial Colonel John Koontz, of the 115th regiment of the army at this place, adjourned sine die some days last week.

Three charges were preferred against the colonel, viz-

1. For exciting discontents among the troops.

2. For unofficer-like conduct in exciting jealousies among the officers.

3. For disrespect to his commander.

Col. Koontz was acquitted on the first charge, but found guilty on the second and third. The sentence of the court was, that he be dismissed the service, which sentence has been confirmed, & was announced in general orders on Monday.
