Oran, April 14. Our garrison amounts to about 6000 men. Within the last few days, a small body of 1000 commanded by General Boyer, and the spirited General Minutoli, made an excursion of six leagues into the country occupied by the tribes in the neighborhood of fort Mersaequitar, with the view of establishing posts to defend a certain extent of ground on which it is proposed to lay out a Model Farm, like that of Algiers.
Mr. Charles de Mornay's mission was completely successful. The Emperor of Morocco has renounced all pretensions to the territory of Tlemsen, which he acknowledged belongs to France.
