The Beginning of last Week arrived here Capt. Constant Freeman in a Scooner from North Carolina, who on his Passage from thence last Tuesday 7 night was taken off Cape Henlopen, by the Prince Edward commanded by Monf. de Chatelau, whom we have had lately occasioned often to mention, as he has made many Captures on the Southern Coast:--Capt. Freeman's Vessel he intended to destroy as he had done several others; but on two Ships appearing he ransomed her for 250l. Sterling, and was ordered to put off as quick as possible, a Sloop also from N. Carolina, in Company pass'd by the Frigate, who made after the two Ships.
