Full Text

Extract of a letter from Dublin, June 27.

The intelligence received from every quarter of the kingdom is couched in a stile of thanksgiving for the general appearance of plenty, which amply promises to reward the cares of the husbandman. The inhabitants of the north, in addition to their favourable harvest prospects, have been uncommonly fortunate in their flax seed plantations, and the seed imported from America has this year greatly exceeded the produce of what has been purchased from the Dutch. This circumstance is the more agreeable, as the Americans take manufactures, while the Dutch accept of nothing but the ready specie.
