Full Text
Some of the star route mail contractors who for years have been growing rich off the labor of sub-contractors are coming to grief. Their only means of securing profit was by swindling the sub-contractor. The profit when there is any should go to the man who does the work. When people learn to refuse these jobs unless paid for at their real value, the star route rs will be out of employment. Nearly all the routes in this vicinity are sublet and we do not know of a single one on which the man who does the work gets over half pay for his labor.
