United States Supreme Court.

The proceedings of the United States supreme court yesterday were as follows:

Admissions to the bar, Sanford B. Ladd, of Kansas City, Mo., and William McKay, of Salt Lake City, Utah.

No. 1240. F. L. Ames et al., &c., plaintiffs in error, vs. the state of Kansas ex rel. W. A. Johnston, attorney general, and No. 1441. The Kansas Pacific railway company, plaintiff in error vs. the state of Kansas ex rel. W. A. Johnston, attorney general. Argument concluded.

No. 110. The Chesapeake and Ohio railway company, plaintiff in error vs. A. E. White, administrator, &c. Return to rule to show cause argued.

No. 242. Joseph J. Mersman, appellant, vs. Casper A. and Lucy W. Wenger. Continued per stipulation.
