Baton Rouge, April 8. (P)- Plans for additional action against Governor Long were discussed by members of the Louisiana House, when eighteen additional charges to the first one were voted on Saturday, which came before the House for action, but it has not been definitely determined whether all the charges will be pressed.
The enemies of Gov. Long want to go the limit, but others believe that the House vote was taken only to add a few more charges The sub-committee is scheduled to meet to decide the proper procedure.. When the Lower House reconvenes tomorrow night, the Senate will sit as a Court of Impeachment and soon after all charges will be disposed of.
The first charge filed indicated that the Governor attempted to suppress the freedom of the press.
