Federal Persecution,

IN MASSACHUSETTS!!!

Are men to be deterred from giving their votes because they are indebted to a few lordly federalists, and are threatened with immediate prosecutions and vexatious law-suits, as the consequence?

We understand that several masters of vessels have been dismissed from the employ of federalists, solely on account of their being Republicans, and opposed to Gore's war measures, who at the same time owned part of the vessels from which they have been discharged -but the major part being owned by federalists they had the power ;-and give them the power, and they will cut the throats of every friend to a Republican government.

Republicans, remember your situation ; you are engaged in no ordinary contest—victory or death is your portion.

Federalists and the British act in concert.

Mr Gore and the Federalists have recommended war with France; or, in other words, to join England in a war against all other European nations.

The late accounts from England state that it is highly probable that he will declare war against the United States if we do not come into their measures, and join them in war against France. Who does not see in these things the most perfect understanding, between the leading federalists and the British ministry to plunge the nation into a ruinous warfare ?
