The Temperance Tornado.

Whatever absurd features attend the present temperance tornado, it is, at any rate, refreshing to see the clergymen of all denominations leave off pulling each other's hair and taking together at the hair of that old enemy whose name is not pronounced in polite circles. After all, the Episcopalian, Methodist, Roman Catholic and the Quaker, all seek the same end, and why should they not pull together instead of pulling in different directions?--Indianaapolis Sentinel.
