RECAPITULATION.
Know-nothings and republicans voting for Banks 110
Republican know-nothings voting against Banks
National know-nothings voting for Fuller 85
Democrats voting for Richardson and Orr 80
Mr. Miller, of Missouri, and Mr. Childs, of New York, absent since the beginning of the session; Mr. Trumbull's seat vacant. A number of times within the last four weeks the number recorded above as having voted for Mr. Banks could have elected him and if to these are added the republican know-nothings who vote for Mr. Pennington, it would give to the side of the House supporting Mr. Banks a clear majority of the whole number, even with an unusual attendance.
This list has been prepared with great care, is believed to be accurate. If any gentleman is erroneously classed it will give us pleasure to make the correction.
