We have a Report that a considerable Body of Russian Foot will pierce into Moldavia next Spring, by the Way of Kaminieck, and afterwards join the Imperial Troops in Transilvania. Letters from the Frontiers say, that the Tartars have made some Incursions into the Territories of Russia; but they give us no Particulars. It is said that Proposals will be made to the approaching Diet of the States for engaging the Republick to take a Share in the War against the Turks: and that several of the Grandees have already been with the Primate at Lowicz for his Opinion thereupon: That Prelate, who continues in a very weak and languishing State of Health, told them, That having been several Times a Witness of the unfortunate Catastrophes of his Country by the Engagements she had enter'd into, very often contrary to her own Interest, he hoped that his great Age and Infirmities would hinder him from being a Witness of any new Misfortune on that Occasion.
