We hear from the Frontiers of Turkey, that the Turkish Army attacked an advanced Post in Croatia, in which was about 200 Men, all of whom the Turks either cut to Pieces, or made Prisoners.
Letters from Vienna, confirm the above Account of the Turks having cut to Pieces or taken Prisoners the 200 Imperialists in Croatia; and further add, that the Turks have attacked several other Detachments on the Frontiers of that Province; and that the Court of Vienna looks on those Hostilities as an open Rupture and glaring Infringement of the Treaty of Passarowitz.
And Letters from Petersburg say, that a Courier has been dispatched away to Count Munich, to begin Hostilities without further Delay against the Turks. The Count's express Orders are, either to force the Grand Vizier to a Battle, or to lay Siege to Bender, or some other Place.
The last Letters add, that the Field-Marshal Count Lacy's Army, with which he has Orders to attack the Crimea, consists of 49,000 regular Troops, and 35,000 Cossacks and Kalmucks, in all 84,000 Men.
The King of Prussia is very busy in reviewing his Forces; and they write from Hanover, that all the Troops of that Electorate have received Orders to march at the first Warning.
