Captain Murphy, late master of the privateer, having hurried part of the cargo up the river last week, in a sloop, and since come to town, informs, that on board the ship, from Quebec, taken by Capt. Stacey, they found about 170 letters, giving the people of this country, the most infamous characters; some of which we may publish shortly. Those letters were from the British Army, Scotch Pedlars, Quacks, etc. not the Native Canadians."
