NEW-YORK FEVER.

The fever which has created so much alarm out of New-York, and been treated with so much levity in that city, we are happy to hear is abating. This we are informed of by letter—But the reports of the committee of health, do not indicate the fact. The report on the 3d int. stated, that from the 1st inst. three persons had died. That of the 6th, reported, that from the 3d, four had fallen victims; that of the 10th, thirteen from the 6th; and that of the 13th, that seven had died in town, and two at Bellevue.
