Rare Flowering Attracts Many.

The rare phenomenon of six blooms coming out on a cactus owned by Mrs. Henry Hill has attracted the attention of many flower lovers in this vicinity. Mrs. Hill obtained the plant seven years ago when it was two years old from her daughter, Mrs. B. J. Heiman of Stillwater. Usually, according to Mrs. Hill, it comes out with one flower at a time, occasionally there would be two. As is usual with the plant the flowers last about 24 hours. This year she was greatly surprised and pleased when six flowers opened at 4 p. m. one day and lasted until 2 p. m. the following day. Numerous interested persons called to see this unusual occurrence. The plant is a night blooming cereus.
