OLSON FOR GOVERNOR CLUB ORGANIZED

An "Olson for Governor" club was formed in Sauk Centre Monday evening when about fifty farmers met in the Community Club rooms and elected L. L. Kells as president, and Fay Cooper secretary of the newly formed organization. An advisory board will be appointed before the next meeting by Mr. Kells. The gentleman stated that the purpose of the club is to combat "false propaganda now being launched against our governor."

Mr. Drinker was called upon to speak and responded. His chief argument for the re-election of Olson for governor was that the Democrats and Republicans had had their chance over long periods of time, while the Farmer-Labor Party has been in the saddle for only four years, and he continued, they should be in office at least 15 years to put over this program before any fair comparison should be made.
