SHOW AFRICA IS "SAFE"
Nairobi, Kenya (ANP)-Sir Patrick Renison, in a speech before Digo and Giriama tribesmen at Kwale on the Kenyan coast last week, exhorted Africans to "show that Africa is a place where money is safe." He said, "People who are frightening investors away and driving them from Africa are holding us all back," pointing out that if the continent can guarantee a safe climate for investors, "our revenues will go up and all the things we are trying to do will come about more quickly."
