This is the expressive title of a new anti-slavery paper which has just been commenced in Rochester, N. Y., on a medium sheet, at one dollar per annum in advance. It is to be published semi-monthly, under the supervision of the managers of the Rochester Anti-Slavery Society; whose address to the public, by the way, is so persuasive and powerful, that, long as it is, (not too long, however,) we shall copy it entire, hereafter. 'THE RIGHTS OF MAN' is just what its title imports: it goes for the immediate abolition of slavery—for the extinction of the American Colonization Society—and for the elevation of our whole colored population to the rank and privileges of American citizens. We hail it as another efficient champion of bleeding humanity, and rejoice to perceive that the Rochester Society is pledged for its continuance for one year. Abolitionism in Rochester has burst out in the most unexpected and brilliant manner. Such an example cannot be lost: it will be imitated far and wide, in that region, as benevolent, patriotic and glorious. So prospers the GOOD CAUSE!
