We talked to a number of farmers and business people this week and all approved our suggestion of last week that the time is now at hand when this county should employ a county agent, a man who is an expert in all matters pertaining to the agricultural industry.
With improved methods, our dry farmers should be getting 20 to 25 (or more) bushels of wheat to the acre instead of 10 or 12 as now. Also, they should be raising No. 1 milling wheat instead of the poorer grades now produced. Keep thinking about the matter.
