Funeral Directors Meet Here May 30

The seventeenth annual session of the Georgia Funeral Directors State association will be held here on May 30 through June 1. The announcement was made Tuesday by M. C. Smith, president and F. J. Hutchings, secretary. Host to the opening session will be the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Rev. M. L. King, pastor, next Tuesday night, May 30, beginning at 8 o'clock. Other meetings will be held in the YMCA building on Butler Street. The local committee is E. A. Pollard, chairman, J. H. Hanlay, W. L. Murdaugh, Mrs. Geneva Haugabrooks, Mrs. E. B. Murphy, S. E. Gore, C. S. Cox, H. M. Ivey, S. G. Sellers and J. P. Lawson. Friends are asked to attend the opening meeting Tuesday night.
