HOUCKSVILLE.

Rev. L. A. Ledford, of Fairview, Ohio, visited Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Buchman a few days last week.

Wesley Sunday school will hold its annual harvest festival July 14 and the picnic August 18.

Miss Flora Watts, Mr. Charles Norris, Mrs. John S. Shmerrimum, of Baltimore, and Mr. Walter Stratton, of Columbia, S. C., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Elseroad the past week.

Children's day services at Wesley Sunday, June 17, at 10 a. m.

Miss Mattie Richards, of Baltimore, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Elner Richards.

Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Buchman spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. H. Caple, of Eastview.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Hoffman and children, of Grave Run, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hoffman.

Mrs. Hugh Doyle and Miss Carrie Bish, of Baltimore, are guests of Mrs. Carrie Leppo.

Mr. Frank Shaffer killed a black viper snake last week, down the mill road, that measured six feet 10 inches.
