Full Text

Lebanon, Ohio

This village is growing rapidly. Two flourishing mills have been erected during the present season and a splendid hotel is nearly completed. The Lebanon Star regrets that there is no Academy in the place, and rightly. Her citizens are necessitated to send their children from home to educate them. This is humiliating, in a town possessing so many rich and influential inhabitants. Certainly one of the very first things to be thought of is to secure good means of education on the spot. We are assured that the suggestion of the Star to raise a fund for establishing an Academy will be attended to.
