Full Text

The School Tax Election.

It is scarcely necessary for the News-Miner to condole with the people of Ketchum over the defeat of the proposition to levy a special school tax. Ketchum has now a very neat, commodious school house. It might be enlarged and rendered more comfortable for the children, who are now crowding each other as rapidly as the town grows; but it compares favorably with any district in the Territory. Bellevue, it appears, was equally negligent. We hope the anticipations of our neighbor at Hailey may not be disappointed.
