An interesting talk describing a trip taken some months ago through the northern part of Lower California was given to the Rotary club today by Attorney Harry Horton.
He depicted the difficulties encountered in traveling over the little traversed roads and trails in an automobile, and the experiences met by him and a party of other valley men in seeking for adventure in that section.
The trip started from Mexicali and followed the trail to San Felipe, thence across the lower ranges to the central mountains forming the backbone of the peninsula, thence back to Mexicali via the western trail along Laguna Salada.
Humorous incidents added to the interest of the talk which was thoroughly enjoyed by the club members.
Inter-club singing was led by Dr. Warren Fox and Frank Beyschlag.
Bob Hatton acted as chairman of the day.
