BODY IN CAMDEN TRUNK KNOWN

CAMDEN, N. J., Aug. 22.-John Smith and Marcus Carroll, detectives of Camden county, who worked up the clues that led yesterday to partial identification of the body in the "trunk mystery," as that of Solomon Jacob Rosenbloom, a merchant of Windber, Somerset county, Pa., say they expect to arrest Alexander Rosenbloom, a son of the murdered man, at any time.

The detectives and Charles A. Wolverton, Assistant Prosecutor of Camden county, are so positive that the body of the man found in a trunk in a ravine near Bellmawr, last Sunday is that of Rosenbloom, that they have set the entire police machinery of the county in motion to find Alexander Rosenbloom and his mother, who is suspected of knowing something of the revolting crime.

The authorities admit that they have clues that will lead to the arrest of the missing man. So far as Mrs. Rosenbloom is concerned, the detectives will not say that they know where she is. It is thought that she is with relatives somewhere in Maryland, but this remains to be proved.

"The arrest of Alexander Rosenbloom is only a question of time," said Smith as he left Camden yesterday. "We know where he was stopping recently, and unless something unforeseen happens, we expect to have him soon."

"Do you think Mrs. Rosenbloom was connected with the murder of her husband?" Mr. Wolverton was asked.

"I do not want to commit myself on this point," he answered. "The first thing to do now is to find Alex. There is no doubt to my mind that the body of the man in the trunk is that of Rosenbloom, who disappeared from his home in Windber the night of November 11, 1907. Harry Friedman, who was employed in the Rosenbloom store for one month prior to the disappearance of Rosenbloom, has established the identity of the body found in the trunk as that of Rosenbloom, and he has done this in such a thorough manner that we have no reason to believe he is not telling the truth."
